The Greek gods featured in Troy can influence the game in similar ways to their Homeric counterparts, with their influence spanning entire factions, rather than directly intervening on the battlefield. Through Total War’s unique blend of grand, turn-based empire management and spectacular real-time battles, Troy explores this epic conflict from both the Greek and Trojan perspectives – peeling back the layers of myth and legend to reveal the realities that may have inspired them. TROY is the latest Total War Saga title inspired by Homer’s Iliad, it focuses on the historical flashpoint of the Trojan War, evolving the series with new period-inspired features. For there, on the battlefield before the great city, legends will be born.

The Greeks set course for Troy, towards inevitable war and slaughter. Pretty neat.A Total War Saga TROY Free Download Repacklab Minotaurs are just huge hairy guys with axes, basically. It turns out there are heroes, and minotaurs and centaurs can be fielded in battle, but they’re realistic versions of fantasy. YouTubers have been playing the game all week and as a Total War fan, I can say the game looks interesting.Īlthough the scale of these sort of spin-off games from CA’s main franchises are usually quite small, and might sometimes feel repetitive, Total War Troy does enough differently to get me excited to play it. The game is heavily stylized and looks distinctly different from other Total War titles, as well as including a resource system for wood, stone and other goods. Troy is the latest of Creative Assembly’s historic saga titles, the last being Britannia.
